Ana Milhazes loved her job in information technology and was addicted to shopping. Until she started to lose the pleasure she was doing, and started to feel very tired and unmotivated. She ended up getting sick: she suffered from burnout and was diagnosed with depression. At that point, she decided to change her life. And she really did.
After saying goodbye, he chose to slow down and simplify his life even further, living entirely in accordance with what he believed in.

Today, she is the author of the blog Ana, Go Slowly, a yoga instructor, ambassador for the Lixo Zero Portugal movement, a speaker and trainer in the areas of minimalism and sustainability and feels truly happy.

In this inspiring book, and based on her own example, Ana Milhazes shows us how we can be happier with less and gives us tips to make our lives easier and transform them: from sustainable consumption to technology, including means of transport, organising and cleaning the home, hygiene, zero waste in the kitchen and the sharing economy. The author also addresses social challenges, myths surrounding sustainability and shares some ideas for the future.

Vida Lixo Zero is a book made from recycled paper and without laminating, because changing and doing things differently is in our hands. And change starts now.
