The African or Arabian frankincense, Boswellia carterii, is distinguished from the Indian frankincense, Boswellia serrata. The frankincense tree or Boswellia carterii grows mainly in northeastern Africa (Ethiopia) and southeastern Arabia (Oman).
This oil is very conducive to meditation and has a positive influence on mental balance. Frankincense strengthens the body's natural resistance. It has a soothing effect on the respiratory tract. Used on the skin, this oil is suitable for preventing skin aging.
