Helps control the herpes virus.

Provides the essential amino acid lysine in its free form (pre-digested for maximum absorption). This amino acid is used in the control of the herpes virus. It has been suggested that it antagonizes the activity of arginine (another amino acid) that acts in the nutrition of the virus, however lysine also appears to have other antiviral properties.

It is also used for vascular protection. It appears to work with proline and vitamin C to inhibit lesions that can lead to the development of atherosclerosis. Lysine is also a precursor to carnitine, which is a powerful cardiovascular tonic.

Ingredients:

Bulking agent microcrystalline cellulose, Anti-caking agent vegetable stearic acid, silicon dioxide, Glazing agent hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, vegetable glycerin (from palm oil and coconut oil) Carboxymethyl cellulose. Free from sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, soya, gluten, dairy products, preservatives, sweeteners, flavourings or artificial colours.

How to Take:As a dietary supplement for adults, take 1 tablet daily, with juice or water, between meals, or as prescribed by your doctor or healthcare professional. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Precautions: It is not advisable to take it for very long periods (more than 6 months), as it may cause an imbalance in arginine. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any pharmaceutical product or suffer from any medical condition, consult your doctor or healthcare professional before taking this supplement.
