HAWA METALMINUS It is a supplement indicated in the treatment of toxic heavy metal poisoning in the body.
Accumulations of metals in the human body can be the result of genetic disorders that alter the metabolism of metals in the body, but they can also result from poisoning by exogenous metals, such as lead, cadmium or mercury, among others.
These mechanisms give rise to various pathologies, usually chronic, with effects on the entire organism, particularly on the neurocerebral, renal, hepatic, pulmonary and cutaneous tissues. The repercussions are more significant in cases of asthma, eczema, allergies and insidious neurological disorders (hyperactivity, chronic fatigue, dizziness, headaches, anxiety, irritability, mood swings, concentration and memory deficits, cognitive difficulties and visual and motor disorders).
Chelating agents have been the treatment of choice in these situations, as they allow the metal ions to be captured, forming chelates, which enable their elimination from the body.
Glutathione is a potent chelator involved in the cellular response, transport and excretion of metal cations. Because it has very low bioavailability when administered orally, it is preferable to supplement the body with its best metabolic precursor, NAC (n-acetylcysteine). N-acetylcysteine also has direct activity against heavy metals, reducing the oxidative effects induced by them (particularly lead), and has protective activity on the kidneys, brain and liver against the harmful effects of this heavy metal (lead).
Allium sativum has hepatoprotective effects against heavy metals, related to its ability to induce their uptake and elimination. It also has protective effects against cadmium, protecting the kidneys from damage caused by this heavy metal. Allium sativum extract has a protective effect against methylmercury. This plant is more effective in cases of lead poisoning than D-penicillamine.
Chlorella reduces organic mercury levels, with a significant reduction at the renal and cerebral levels.
