Calcium is a fundamental mineral for the metabolism of our entire organism, especially for strengthening our skeleton (where 99% of this mineral is concentrated).

In addition to building bones and teeth, calcium is important because it enables the enzymatic activity involved in muscle contraction, the release of neurotransmitters, the regulation of heart rate, blood clotting, etc.
