LION'S MANE NEO is obtained from pure organically produced Hericium erinaceus extract, free from maltodextrins and allergens. It is presented in a gastro-resistant vegetable capsule, which protects the active ingredients of the mushrooms and plants from the acidic environment of the stomach, as well as improving their bioavailability, thanks to the microgranules, an advanced galenic technology that optimizes, protects and regulates the release of the active ingredients. In the development and production of this supplement, we used organic Vitamin C, obtained from the Camu-Camu plant species (Myrciaria dubia), on the outside of the microgranule (coating). After ingesting the microgranule, the vitamin C is released immediately, preceding the active ingredients of the mushrooms, in order to favor the absorption of the polysaccharides, thus optimizing their physiological action. Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a rare mushroom, considered a delicacy. It grows on very old but still living chestnut, oak, beech and walnut trees. It grows on trunks to a height of 3 to 4 metres. The name derives from the shape of its fruiting body, which is similar to a lion's mane.

Lion's Mane contains numerous minerals (potassium, zinc, iron, selenium, phosphorus, etc.), all essential amino acids, immunomodulatory polysaccharides (beta-glucans) and has antitumor activity (FII 1 – FII 2b), hericenones, erinacines and an effect similar to Nerve Growth Factor.
This mushroom acts mainly on tissues of ectodermal derivation (mucosa and nervous system). It contains a group of bioactive substances, hericenones A, B, C, D, E, which induce the production of nerve tissue growth stimulating factor (NGF), a compound capable of stimulating the regeneration of severely damaged but still living brain neurons.
